This hotel has a great location. Very walkable to just about everything Savannah has to offer a tourist. The historic areas and River Walk are right there to enjoy. The pool, restaurants and bars are great. It's just a really cool place to stay!

The hotel is over hyped Staffing was very nice please note: They charge $150 deposit per start plus a destination fee and the breakfast isn’t actually breakfast if you add it on it’s a discount to lil James . On top of that parking is terrible and the area is weird If you do want parking. It’s an additional $50 per night . Over hyped and over priced

Overall I was pleased with the Godley. Yes the breakfast had room for improvement, a waffle maker would be good for those of us wanting a little more than continental fare. Parking is tight, but it’s available and included so that’s good. No loud kids, or adults, running up and down the hallways so that was good, but a crying baby made for a pretty good competition for my white noise machine. The beautiful hardwood floors also transfer a lot of noise to the rooms under them, stay away from room 102. 102 is right under the the check-in desk and every move made at the desk is transferred straight through the hardwood and straight into the room.
