Vacations Close To Tamarindo Beach

Staff member who worked the evening of 7/27/26 was very disrespectful. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager he said no without any regard. Plastic covering doorway for renovation. No daily housecleaning.

Our stay there was great! It was walking distance to old San Juan. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was friendly. The only downside was, the hot tub didn’t work and there was no warm water. I would stay here again.

Had a fire alarm go off 4 of the 8 nights we stayed. All in the middle of the night with no check-ins from hotel staff about building safety or proper fire code policies. The resort is quiet, beach/pool are stellar, staff is very helpful, and guest keep to themselves. Overall we enjoyed the stay, however our issue was addressed with a comp of 1 night stay and while the offer was is better than doing nothing, I reach out to the local fire chief/Marshall to investigate this hotel life saving safety devices and procedures. I will take this up to their insurance carrier as well due to the fact they allowed their staff and guest to become desensitized to the active fire alarms.

My stay was perfect! . Check in process was seamless. Entered the code into the lock box as the instructions stated. I had no issues receiving the keys. Upon the walk in , the apt was spotless. Location was perfect. I was on the strip with a grocery store one block down. Tons of restaurants and bars within a 3 block radius . The balcony was beautiful! There was a tray filled with snacks for me to keep. A bottle the of water was in the refrigerator complimentary. The communication with the owner was great. They made sure to check on me day 1 and see if I needed anything or if there was anything they can do to make my stay more comfortable. I appreciated that.
