“Camera con 3 letti + cucina con ulteriore letto + bagno. Vista sul cortile. Le dotazioni sono un po' datate, ma il soggiorno è stato molto superiore alle nostre aspettative. Simpatico il gestore. Assolutamente consigliato.”

“Our room was upgraded to an apartment because of an over booking. The apartment was very comfortable with a lovely balcony just across from the beach. The kitchen was VERY well equipped. Walking to old town in 5 minutes, many beach restaurants , and supermarket and bakery within 100 meters”

“The Monastery Estate is a beautifully restored family house in the tiny village of Moni, not far from Sougia and the sea. It's an incredibly peaceful, intimate place with comfortable, quirky, stylish rooms and large patios. The view over to the White Mountains is breathtaking and there is great hiking nearby. We were extremely well looked after by Katerina and Marianne - nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful with local suggestions. Highly recommended! ”

“We drove our car there at night, the road was wiggly & dark ( no lights other than the car lights). For us it was a little nerve racking. The view was pretty in the morning. The room looked nice and clean, but the fridge was uncleaned, Staff were nice and welcoming. In the room description it said the mattress is Tempur-pedic, but that definitely wasn’t!. In the room descriptions it said we would get a bottle of sparkling wine, but we didn’t get that either. I opened the drawers under the bed...

“La struttura è molto bella e ben tenuta, abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo la piccola piscina sul terrazzo e la disposizione dell’appartamento. Siamo stati accolti dalla proprietaria che ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni sulle spiagge vicine e i ristoranti. Ad attenderci anche un cesto di frutta e vino offerti. Il tramonto che si può vedere sul mare è impagabile”

“A beautiful place nestled in the mountains, set in a charming, beautifully restored village. Its location is also ideal, roughly halfway between Elafonissi Beach and the Balos Lagoon, making it a great base for exploring both. Our room was a wonderful cottage, full of character and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The restaurant was another highlight, serving truly outstanding dishes. A wonderful experience overall.”

“Chose this spot as a place to stay overnight before visiting Elafonisi Beach. Nice suite for a little mountain getaway. Met some nice people and the host was very friendly. No amenities in the village so you need to drive about 5 minutes to get some food. Some good places to eat nearby. The only complaint would be some noisy neighbours who were up until 2am stomping around doing who knows what. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.”
