The food staff were truly amazing and provided our family with genuine care for our food allergies. They went above and beyond to take care of our family. They were the best chefs that we have ever had. They made our trip really safe and enjoyable. Thanks Victoria and Louis and the entire food staff. The pools and hotel and beach were great. Overall this hotel has something for everyone.

Amazing resort. Highly recommend the Maya over the other lower tier hotels in the compound as you get access to them/their amenities as well as their restaurants. Food was 10/10 at the buffet, restaurants, and small stores in the shopping mall. Large and fun pool area. Beautiful setup on the beach, lots of lounge chairs, a bar, and food bar as well. Mangrove walkways, and all other walkways across the compound are beautiful. Clean bathrooms in all the common areas. Beautiful lobby area, golf cart shuttle service all over at all times. Overall great experience, 10/10 will come back again.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was amazing. Breakfast had plenty of great options, and the location was perfect. Everything was well taken care of from check-in to check-out. Definitely a place I would happily stay at again

This place was awesome, there is so many amenities to do here from the huge main pool, and wave pool. The swim up bar is awesome if you get lucky ask for Marco he’s awesome bartender. The only downside was the the beach and all the seaweed was a down side.

This was a Wow resort! Highly recommend! Beautiful with great food options for our family of 16 ranging from 8 years old to 69 years old. Lots of pool activities, karaoke, theater shows, bingo, trivia, and more. Rooms were huge with large bathroom (tub and shower) and lots of storage space.

Property was pretty clean for being a busy resort. Food choices were decent although the few restaurants onsite that require reservations, definitely need to make in advance before you arrive. Staff is friendly and the drinks were good. Close to the beach and great swimming areas. Pools were nice and the onsite entertainment was fun.

5 star experience! We went to Barcelo Maya Beach last year and felt that the Iberostar resort was better in almost every aspect! The staff was great. Tomas with the entertainment staff was fantastic! Our son (8) looked forward to seeing him each day. The food was great. Our room was great. We would definitely return to this resort in the future!
