Vacations Close To James Bond Beach

Beautiful setting, different from most beach destinations. Rooms surrounded by trees with birds and goats roaming around. Very pleasant and peaceful. Just the right amount of nightlife too! The Martini/Piano Bar is great.

Bahia Principe was a wonderful experience. We had the oceanfront view, coffee was great and enjoyed all the activities especially the Bob Marley tribute and Magic show. I would say the guests should receive notices when the a la carte resturants are closed. We were only able to experience one out of three as the reservationa were fully booked. We monitored the app closely and even discussed the barrier with guest..relations and no luck.

Overall had a great stay. Staff was amazing. Had issue with vermin in room upon arrival but was able to get new room promptly. No issues after that. Food was okay. Beautiful pools and beach. We enjoyed ourselves.

I liked the cleanliness of the property and the amenities. The staff was mostly helpful and friendly however the vacation consultants were aggressively trying to get me to attend a presentation. My room was called about 4 times in their attempt to get me to buy into a timeshare/residence. I found this to be disturbing and quite annoying. After checking out I was approached again about buying a coupon for a future stay. When I declined I was asked “what’s holding me back?” I was here for a vacation not a negotiation with moon palace about spending my hard earned money with them. This is my third time but I doubt I will be coming back. It just feels like they don’t appreciate my business and don’t care about my desire to have a relaxing experience. The other downside to this was the 1 hour 45 minute shuttle to and from Montego Bay airport. I would much rather stay in MoBay for my future Jamaica visits.
