Very pleasant stay. This was the second over the years. Helpful staff. Very nice room with balcony. The only inconvenience is that hotel is about 1.5 km from city centre but it is convenient for travellers having private transport (car). Taxi is typically expensive from the railway station (ranging between 23 to 30 Euro.

This is a new hotel in the outskirts of Pistoia. This is no disadvantage, as Pistoia is a rather small town. All amenities are excellent, as is the service. The restaurant provides excellent food at reasonable prices. All in all an excellent choice.

The unit we rented was an apartment style with one bedroom and sofa bed. That part of the hotel was brand new and beautifully done. Very quiet and dark in the evening. Very close drive to go up into the hills where there are little villages and many olive trees! Pistoia is a cute old town, which was a 10 min drive from the hotel.

Lovely hotel with large open air pool and surrounding area. Delicious food, helpful staff and good size room for two people. Slightly away from town but hotel offers a shuttle service for most trips into town. It is walkable but depends on the weather as the heat can make it tough going. Thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay.

Grand hotel Cappuggi did not disappoint. I stayed with my 3 children for 10 nights end of june , start of july. Very reasonably priced 4* hotel experience haf by all. A little out of town (2 miles) but free shuttle bus (or taxi if not available) shows excellent customer care. Receptionists very helpful, cleaners nice and cheerful. Fabulous swimming pool essential in 38° temperatures. Football and tennis available. Ball provided keeping my boys well entertained. Thiroughly recommend this hotel as a point from where to explore Tuscany and further afield.

Low score for the restaurant.

Nice room, a few of the rooms dere renovated but the room we got was smaller than described. We had several visits in the restaurant but only first visit was ok. The restaurant tok Euro 2,50 for skating per person. We got a basket of dry bread, no plates, no oil/salt/peppar…potatoes were dry and the steak was served cold… also service were slow except first time…

Mi è piaciuta tantissimo la posizione di questo hotel, nel verde, con ampio parcheggio e possibilità di cenare all’aperto. Personale gentile. Camera abbastanza nuova, anche se non grande (l’anta dell’armadio si apre solo parzialmente perché troppo vicina al letto), molto silenziosa e con la possibilità di fare buio assoluto. Da migliorare la manutenzione: i sanitari perdevano acqua, la cassaforte non si chiudeva. Buona la prima colazione, anche se migliorabile (poca scelta p.es. Mancava frutta secca; ciotole sbeccate; bicchieri non pulitissimi). Anche in piscina c’erano alcuni lettini rotti. In conclusione, buono, con un po’ di cura potrebbe essere ottimo!

Hotellets läge, den vackra naturen runt omkring och renligheten var utmärkta. Tyvärr frukosten inte alls upp till standard. Det varma utbudet bestod i princip bara av ägg och bacon, och de kändes ofta gamla och inte nygjorda. Grönsakerna var begränsade till gurka och tomat, som dessutom ofta såg ut att ha stått framme länge. Fruktutbudet bestod nästan enbart av vattenmelon och ibland fanns det persikor, men i mycket begränsad mängd. Den kaffemaskin som gjorde det bättre kaffet var dessutom trasig nästan varje dag. Större delen av frukosten bestod av söta bakelser och bröd, medan det saknades variation och färska alternativ. Det mest frustrerande var att många av faten redan var tomma vid klockan 08.00. Personalen fyllde bara på om man själv sa till – och då endast om det fortfarande fanns något kvar. Min dotter tycker särskilt mycket om färska croissanter, men under två av våra dagar var de redan slut klockan 08:30. När jag påpekade detta fick jag höra att det berodde på ett strömavbrott som hade varat i ungefär 30 minuter – och dessutom bara hade inträffat en av dagarna. Den förklaringen kändes varken rimlig eller relevant. Sammantaget var hotellet mycket bra när det gäller läge, omgivning och städning, men frukosten var en stor besvikelse och behöver förbättras avsevärt.
