I booked the hotel because it appeared to be economically priced as well as good quality being apart of the IHG family. Also they advertised being pet friendly. We arrived early morning around 130 am. Although the website advertised pets stay free, the staff at the desk stated there was an $50 per day fee for pets. I informed her I had a service animal and then she asked for a service animal certification. That was issue number one. Esthetically it looked nice; however, cleanliness was lacking. Issue number two was our room had a really bad stench ( very loud pet urine smell). You could tell they did not hold up their policy with cleaning the rooms. Our shower was also dirty and the T.V. did not work properly. We did not make much of a fuss because we just drove 11 hours and were tired. We just needed a place to rest. Unfortunately, the real horror came later. Although we were told at check-in breakfast was included, we found out by the morning staff there was a $10 per person fee. That was fine - what wasn’t fine is that there were ants crawling all over the counter at the breakfast bar!!! That’s not all. On our last night there, we woke up to find bed bugs in our bed! Absolutely, disgusting and horrific! I took pics and reported it to the front desk. To add insult to injury, I later get a call from two days after checking out offering apologies and an IHG membership to credit me 3K points for my next stay!!! Seriously???!!!! They have got to be kidding me! Never again!!!
