We (family of 3 adults) really enjoyed staying amongst the rice fields in this very clean, well set up apartment. The remote check-in instructions were clear and we were able to follow them easily. The bedroom downstairs and the living areas were well designed and comfortable. Loved the decor on the main level which made this place feel cosy and unique. We did not use the upstairs futon sleeping area because not even a child could stand up (we are all 170cm+) Used the shared laundry and found it very clean and functional. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful isolated accomodation

Wonderful accomodation with enough room for 6 people (1 double bed, 1 single, 3 futons). Loved the privacy and view of the mountains over the snow-filled rice fields. Check in was easy with english speaking staff via a touch pad when arriving. There is a farmer's market on the way to Asahikawa with fresh local produce. Internet is fast (approx 10 MB/sec). Excellent water pressure. There is paid laundry facilities in a separate building. Parking is outside and the driveway is cleared by staff. The garage is for use as storage, not for parking the car. But you can park right up to your front door. A minor issue is no knives in the cutlery (a cooking knife is supplied). I discovered using a spoon to cut sausages at breakfast can be explosive as the juices burst out everywhere from the blunt pressure.

The unit is spacious and very clean, and worth the extra drive if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay. Note, though, that although the loft can sleep several people, the ceiling is only about four feet high and hitting your head can be a problem! Also, there is no coffee, tea or and condiments provided so be sure to bring your own. The check in was a problem for us, ensure you can make a Japan phone call if needed which we did.

The property is just like the photos, excellent presentation. The upstairs Futon area has a really low ceiling maybe 4 foot high an adult wonโ€™t be able to stand up. The kitchen is geared to Japanese, only 2 dinner plates and no knives. Plenty of bowls, cups, glasses etc.
