“This accommodation was ok but there didn’t seem to be anyone around we were the only people in the restaurant for dinner which was very nice and it was closed for breakfast. Our room whilst ok was under the pool level no view yet it looked like the better rooms were occupied by the staff??? Wouldn’t recommend this”

“I was a bit wary entering through the game room from the back parking lot, but what a delightful surprise to find a beautiful, roomy, fully updated room! They have clearly put great care into renovating this historic hotel. We enjoyed staying there.”

“The room could have been cleaner no wi-fi the whole time we were there 5 days.”

“Overall decent.”

“Room is very clean. The indoor swimming pool quite busy with kids.”

“Well, the room was brilliant and the views were amazing. The room was kept very clean and topped up each day with everything needed. From the car park to where the room is can be quite a challenge with a heavy case and the timber walkway/ramp and so if there was a way that any luggage could have been taken from reception to the room then this might be the way forward. It was great to have happy hour from 3-5 ( which is happy 2 hours!) and the meals in the restaurant were very nice with very...

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful Stay at The Exchange Hotel, Beaconsfield We had a fantastic two-night stay at The Exchange Hotel. Gavin, the owner, was incredibly accommodating, and we were lucky enough to receive a room upgrade. The room was excellent, the bed was sooo comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely and clean. The ambience and aesthetics of this beautiful old building are fantastic, and Gavin deserves 5 stars for all the hard work he has put into restoring it while adding modern upgrades without...

“Absolutely spectacular stay. Had 2 bedrooms with fully equipped kitchen. Beds were so nice to sleep in. Bathroom had a large shower and a bath tub.”

“The grounds needed quite a bit of maintenance however the accommodation was fine. Didn't have a holiday feel because of emergency housing families who were a bit noisy and their cabins were untidy”

“The property was on beautiful, Spacious, Clean & Close to amenities. My family really enjoyed it.”

“Great food at pub”

“Location is perfect! The place is spacious, bright and the bed comfortable The only problem is the noise from the office below and a church’s bell near by It’s also too bright. We needed to use ear plugs and eye mask Please note this place does not have elevator, it’s a step one flight upstairs On the bright side, the front desk staff was extremely charming and even offered a map where she pointed the main tourist attractions (inside information such as the Saturday market)”

“Staff was so lovely , humble and helpful.”

“Very quiet surroundings. Everything we needed in the unit. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff.”

“Glad it was only one night as the bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. Arrived at 7.15pm which was after hours as the reception shut at 7pm, so the person checking me in was not happy, despite living in the room next to reception, and was out brushing their teeth in the hallway when I left in the morning. Left at 7am so only used the room and bathroom no other areas of the house.”
