“Although the facility has so much potential we were very surprised at the unfinished state of the rooms and amenities.”

“Its a sound enough hotel for the business traveler but otherwise pretty ordinary. It's in a shabby part of town with no local ameities or attractions worth the bother. The bar is dismal and the restaurant poor. The staff do a good job of making the best of the little they have to wotk with.”

“This is my very first stay at this hotel & I was told it's under a new ownership for the last 6-7 years. The Front Desk & the Housekeeping crew were very friendly, courteous & attentive. I was given two free 500ml bottles drinking water per day which was very helpful. The bedroom & bathroom linens were very clean without any stains. “I've stayed at quite a few of the nicest hotels in Colombo over the past few years, both with my family and alone, and I'm really pleased I tried ITC this year. It's probably now my joint favourite alongside the Hilton Colombo Residences. It is superior to the Shangri-La (where the rooms are shoeboxes and the feeling is sterile) and Mt Lavinia (which seems too obsequious to a colonial past!). The lobby area is great and I felt like spending a lot of time there. The vibe feels more high end Sri...
