B&B en Pigra

“This property is truly lovely. The rooms are spacious, large and fresh. Our room I thought when I saw the picture with the bunk beds will be simple but it was elegant. The property lies slightly out of town behind a nice electronic gate that opens up into a nice driveway and garden with a pool and an amazing view of a rock faced mountain. The building has be refurbished, yes with Ikea, but it is tasteful done. The breakfast was simple, scrambled eggs with sauteed mushrooms, pastries,...

“The property is exceptionally clean and peaceful, and the owner is truly wonderful. She is a charming young woman who ensures the hotel is perfect for couples. She personally oversees all operations and prepares the breakfast herself, including the bread, coffee, and eggs. With only four rooms available, she has thoughtfully decorated the space, even hand-painting many of the items herself. It is a lovely establishment.”

“Brand new B&B in a small mountain town. Excellent facility - extremely clean and organized. Check-in was a breeze. Outside deck area for breakfast in the morning was perfect. A brother and sister own the place together and they are very accommodating and helpful. The town is very small (the road directly in front of the B&B is two way, but really only fits one car at a time so it is a bit of a challenge) but is well located to visit Lake Como or Lugano close by,”

They were helpful in providing extra linen, an early breakfast to go, and much valuable instruction on accessing area attractions. Also Tea the lovely lab is a sweet soul. The location is perfectly situated close to the ferry dock. The town of Dongo is precious and quiet and perfect for our needs. “Street parking was better than covered parking offered. Mattress and bedding needed replacing with new. Room and bathroom were clean. No one was at the property to greet us. However, they communicated by email promptly. Fabiola, our host, was delightful. Her breakfast was wonderful.”
