the main issue is that paid parking is 5 minutes away and need to vacate parking lot by 8ham the next morning. When it rains, not the best way to start the vacation if you are traveling solo and need to carry your luggage . Also the building has 4 floors and no elevator.

The room and check-in process was great over all. However, there was a leak in one of the bathrooms. When occupants of the above unit showered, one of the bathroom in my unit would also have water coming down from the ceiling light in the shower. We were a little worried if there might be an electrocution risk in that bathroom. I phoned the management right the way when it happened, they never sent anyone. The next day I guess the people in the unit above checked out, so we did not have any leaking problem anymore. But I do wonder if the management actually already know the problem but never bothered to fix it.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very nice hotel and we will be staying again at the end of the week :)

Gorgeous lofted suite in the most perfect part of town. Soaker tub was fantastic. Small downside was having to walk down the 21 steps narrow spiral staircase in the middle of the night to use the washroom. Other than that, it was beautiful. It is a little difficult to find with all the construction going on - so we had to do a little recon mission first to find the location before hauling bags as you cannot drive right to the door with the current construction. It’s also on a street that no cars are allowed on. Can’t beat the view and location though. My husband is a history buff and loved it!

Everything was as listed but that doesn't really capture the experience. The apartment was soulless. Very bare. There were kitchen utensils, but limited glassware and there was literally nothing there to ease the way for travellers first arriving and tired. This is a bigger problem in that there is literally just a gas station nearby where one can buy snacks and coffee but nothing else unless you're renting a car. The only convenience store is about a 15 mn walk away and very small with limited selections. The other thing that irked was that they nickel and dime you. If you arrive early and need a place to store your luggage, they charge you about $6 an hour for the privilege. That struck me as low class. I wouldn't stay there again, it's just not welcoming.

It was a very beautiful hotel and it was close to everything in downtown Quebec City.

Faites attention ! Ils ne respectent pas les réservations et ils ont pris trop de réservations lors de mon passage, résultat : ils nous ont rebooké à un autre endroit qui était très décevant. Je ne ferai plus jamais affaire avec cet endroit lors de mes prochains passages à Québec.

I had the opportunity to experience 5-star hotels in the past and I can only say that this is not such an establishment. Our stay was a complete disaster from the start to the end! We waited for the check-in without even being acknowledged: no hello or we'll be right with you. Then the elevator didn't work, so staircase it was. As for our room, the humidity smell was omnipresent and terrible but we managed to eventually get used to it. Sadly, we had the terrible idea to start the in-room whirlbath which kept restarting every 10-minutes because we were unable to empty it as the drain plug was stuck. So my husband and I had to empty the bath water in the toilet with the garbage bin because there was nobody to help us, a real nightmare. To top things off, we also had to wait 30 minutes for our table at the restaurant, even if we had a reservation. Fortunately, the food and service were both impeccable. And on our last day, while going to the pool and jacuzzi, we had to call the front desk and wait for towels. After all this, I would have expected some form of compensation such as a restaurant voucher or something but we were told, "we can't do anything for you because you reserved through Expedia", seriously? Therefore, Expedia, please do not offer this nightmare of a hotel anymore, because as users of your platform, we receive terrible service. To finish, while this place may have been nice 10 or 20 years ago, it is no longer the case, so stay away!
