The staff at the front desk were warm and friendly. I mentioned that our hot air balloon ride was cancelled and it was the reason I traveled to Arizona for my birthday. When we returned to our room there was a lovely gift from the GM! While it didn’t make up for my disappointment of not being able to ride the hot air balloon, it certainly made my day, I was truly grateful that I only mentioned my birthday in passing but the staff were listening. They truly lived up to the Hilton promise of filling the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality.

The hotel and staff are excellent and a great value for the quality of the hotel and it's very central location. The one negative is the parking situation, which is in a lot across the street from the hotel. Normally, that's pretty standard and would not be an issue but in the 113 degree heat during my stay, it would have been nice to have underground parking or put up some kind of shade awnings or more permanent shade coverings in the lot. Obviously, the hotel is NOT responsible for the heat of Phoenix, and the swimming pool was extremely spacious and well received. Overall, an excellent value and Phoenix is just an extremely hot place which could use more shaded parking, that's all. I would definitely st there again.

Staff was very amenable after I reported the 2 Ice Machines on Floors 1&2 were inoperable in the Cabana side. Lobby receptionist gave me a bag of ice. Also there was a constant odor of what smelled like mold/mildew in the Hallways of both Floors 1 &2 in Cabana side. Hallway carpets need to be cleaned and sanitized and fresh air pumped into ventilation system. Room was clean and beds/pillows were confortable. Breakfast service and food was very good.

I stayed here for one night on a business trip. Overall, the room was clean, the stay was comfortable, and the front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the checkout experience was disappointing. The normal checkout time is 11:00 AM, but I confirmed a late checkout of 11:30 AM with the front desk. Despite that, housekeeping repeatedly knocked on my door starting at 11:00 AM , then again around 11:15 AM and 11:20AM , making me feel pressured to leave even though I had not passed my approved checkout time. If a guest is granted a 30-minute late checkout, I think housekeeping should be informed and allow the guest to use that time without being repeatedly disturbed. When I finally left the room, the housekeepers were laughing, which made the situation feel even more uncomfortable and as though I had been chased out. Everything else about my stay was good, but this experience at the end was frustrating and unnecessary. Will not recommend this place. If you do come, do not extend your check out time!
