I was expecting to smell “pet” odor as it’s a pet friendly hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t at all. The facilities were very clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The one piece of feedback for them is for the housekeepers to ensure the soap, gel and conditioning bottles in the shower stall are always full. My room had no body gel the 4 days I was there…:(

Very nice accommodations for the price. The hotel was modern and clean, and the breakfast was an upgrade from the typical “breakfast included” hotels, also the fitness room was higher grade. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had also stayed at Element in Iowa City, it was very similar and I had a positive experience there as well. I’ll look to stay at Element hotels in the future.
