This was a great hotel in Philly. It’s on a fairly quiet street even if it’s close to the highway. The hotel is historic and the restaurant was lovely and quite crowded. Highly recommend staying here. Also, it’s really close to everything, even if it doesn’t show it on the map.

The Penn View is a charming little hotel. The staff are super friendly. Happy hour food and drinks were superb. Alex, the bartender, is such a nice person. We will go back again. It is a perfect halfway point for us from VA, where we visit family, to our home in NY.

Cozy spot to fall asleep after walking market and south street. Complementary muffins and coffee come in clutch and don't sleep on the Italian restaurant in the premises. Wine collection on point and food is fresh and worth the price!

The hotel has great charm, and awesome location. It is really old and historic so it doesn’t have the luxury amenities like a modern place. The restaurant was also really nice. No parking but there is a paid public lot right next door, nice and easy.

Everything was great! The hotel was beautiful and had such a nice vibe—a perfect mix of modern comfort and historic charm. The location was also very walkable, which made it easy to explore the area. The only downside was parking. If you’re not familiar with the area, just be prepared to pay for parking. There is a very convenient lot right next to the hotel, but it can cost upwards of $40 per night. Other than that, we had a great stay and I would definitely recommend Penn’s View!

We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is located in a great location near restaurants, shops and had a nice view of the river and the Ben Franklin Bridge. There are many historical sites nearby and the bus line was just next-door when we didn’t want to walk. We loved our room and the furnishing. We will definitely stay again if we go back to Philly.

Everything about our stay was wonderful, from the professionalism and courtesy of the staff, to the comfort and cleanliness of our room. The gentleman at the front desk helped us make reservations at Panorama, the in-house restaurant and wine bar which was outstanding! This was our first stay at the Penns View, and it most definitely will not be our last!

Very quaint room, liked being able to get fresh evening air from the small balcony. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. Would have liked a mini-fridge for leftovers from the fantastic restaurant on the lower level. Location is close to parking and across the street from Franklin fountain.

This was our third stay at Penn's View and they haven't disappointed us yet. It it the perfect boutique hotel in old city, great for walking to everything or Uber pick up. The lot beside the hotel is quite large and average priced. The staff is amazing and the rooms are perfect.
