“My husband didn’t like having to go up 60+ stairs to our room and he found the bed a bit ‘lumpy’. We didn’t have breakfast as we left at 6.30 am to catch the ferry.
Stair carpet looks tired and ready for replacement.
Conveniently located for the ferry port and near to the beach front. Plenty of restaurants offering good menu choices in the area.”

“In general I enjoyed the stay very much. The proprietor is lovely and helpful, the lodging itself is dated but full of charm. Breakfast was modest but fresh and very tasty. Being a Francophone helps as the host does not speak English but this is less an issue these days with translation tools available on your mobile device.
The location is great - it is only abut a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach and area attractions,
Only minor issue I had is an indirect bug relating to the historic...

“Beautiful orchard with many cows and apple trees. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious with the hosts’ own products eg apple juice, jam, honey and hot milk. The hosts William and Dominique were lovely. I miss the stay in the farm.”
