The property needs a good clean. Doors and floors were dirty. The location is in quite a challenging place being across from a Tim Hortons that has many unhoused and/or people on drugs. They generally keep to themselves but it does appear to be the meeting place for drug activity. The restaurant staff and front desk staff were helpful and the beds were comfortable. The location just does not feel safe and I wouldn't leave anything in your car.

The hotel is old and is located in a rough part of the city. While the rooms have had a bit of an update, the bathrooms are showing their age. The bathroom was clean-ish. There were splatters on the walls and the shower, being quite old, felt rather grimy. The standard 2 queen rooms are VERY small; as a family of 4 we were very crowded. The pool is much smaller than it appears in the photos and the water was a little cloudy. Lm The restaurant however was fantastic. Amazing service, food was fast and delicious. The staff was great, friendly concierge at check in. Overall, adequate stay.

The breakfast staff was incredible - super friendly and helpful. I'm disappointed because I booked a river belcony view, but was on the first floor (ground level) and could only see the hedge... "Belcony view" was misleading. If it didn't rain the full day i was there, i would was been really, really, disappointed. Everything else was great though.

This hotel is very well maintained and conveniently located. We really enjoyed the patio of the on-site restaurant with entertainment the evening we were there. We enjoyed our water view patio, and the walkway along the water. The dock for the Lift Lock Cruise is right beside the parking lot, which was very handy. There's a grocery store a couple blocks away, other shopping in walkable distance, and a Tim Hortons and Smittys right across the street. The staff were all very friendly and seemed truly interested in making sure we enjoyed our stay. Great spot!
