“Hottest day in May on record and the heating was on in my room. After speaking with staff three times and an hour and a half later, I was moved to another room. In spite of the wonderful advert featuring a restaurant I was told no kitchen tonight. Second room was very noisy overlooking the car park which doubles as a camping ground for motor homes, with ten present. No mattress cover and a very dirty mattress. “The hotel is situated in a nice rural location easily accessible from the M5 and close to the main towns of Worcestershire. I would characterise it as a gastro-pub with rooms rather than a hotel. There was some disappointment that my allocated room was completely different to the room photo on Expedia which had French windows. My room was an attic with skylights. It had unusual dimensions. “Ideal place to stay whether on business or personal. Accommodation is separate block in carpark, which has plenty of parking. Marston’s restaurant food is excellent. Room was great with aircon if needed. Note 2 story with stairs, so best to phone if infirm so you can secure a first floor room. 8 full fat EV chargers on site, including Chademo. Next door is BP service station with Asda local, Subway and Starbucks. Burger King also next door. Centrally located for business park but makes an ideal...

“Very friendly staff all round .The hotel needs a bit updating stairs to room ,we stayed in Apple blossom room which was spacious with a large bathroom .Mini fridge in room with fresh milk nice touch .The room was comfortable in the heatwave ,with a fan included . Felt the detail of cleaning could of been better ( big cobweb under window and handbasin cracked and behind the taps could of done with a clean ) The setting and surroundings really make this hotel a good find .Breakfast served by...

“We stayed two nights. Staff were very nice & helpful.. room was clean, but never full bin after day one. Breakfast were very nice. Parking great loads of space. Room were very hot no air-conditioning or fan & bed very uncomfortable springs broken”

“The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. The room could do with a slight update....e.g. more plug sockets and a bigger...

“El personal es genial, muy amable y colaborador. El hotel aunque parece alejado esta bien comunicado y no esta tan lejos del centro, se necesita transporte pero no hay problema. No le doy mas estrellas porque realmente el sitio es de paso, es correcto y limpio, pero es viejito y causa mal efecto. Para pasar un par de noches no esta mal por el precio”

“Muy bien la señora de la recepción muy agradable, la habitación limpia todo reformado, lo único q el baño es pequeño el de nuestra habitación y faltaba colgadores para las toallas. Pero por lo demas hemos estado muy bien. La ubicación un poco lejos del Centro pero con bus en la misma puerta del hotel en 15min te lleva al mismo Centro, andando sobre unos 35min. ”
