“Convenient location and amazing staff - super helpful and accomodating. Unfortunately our room was directly underneath the bar and dining room so was very noisy. Also the presence of poorly supervised school groups added to the noise and meant the boot room was in constant chaos.”

“Avoid this place at all costs. We paid around $2,500 for one night, expecting a relaxing family holiday, but it turned into a nightmare. Our booking was for 12 guests (5 men, 5 women, and 2 children aged 2 and 5). At around 11 PM, the operator falsely accused us of sneaking in an extra person and threatened to throw us all out. We were over 6 hours from home, with young children and no accommodation available nearby. The women and kids were terrified. The police were called. They were...

“Honestly the exact cozy snow experience my partner and I were after. Loved the Bavarian feel and especially being by the open fireplace in the bar area. Existing from a totally different era I can't imagine anywhere else in Thredbo has the same charm. Don't change!”

“Accomodation fit our budget and schedule for a few days. Booking additional car parking is recommended as there was a fair walk from Thredbo with a lot of steps. There is a courtesy bus that we gratefully used after walking Kosciuszko Staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed having snacks and drinks in the lounge with the fire (and world cup tv) The drying room was great as our clothes were very wet”
