We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the OK Whistlestop. The owners were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a wonderful spread of homemade food from locally sourced ingredients. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. I would love to stay here again.

The rooms were lively with. Very comfy beds and air conditioning. A well appointed kitchen and beautiful washroom. We had a balcony with comfy chairs and table overlooking the mountains and vineyards. The breakfast each morning was incredible. We highly recommend this B&B.

Great stay. Kerstin is wonderful, she is warm, generous and full of great information. She was always there when we needed her, but she was not intrusive or ovrbearing in any way. The breakfasts were thoughtful and everything was sources locally (Kerstin made the bread and the pretzels from scratch as well as the jams and preserves). Our room was spacious, well kept and sooooo clean. If I had one critisism, I would have loved a coffee maker in the room, rather than the "instant" type coffee - but it had caffeine, so it did the trick! Thank you Kerstin for being an esceptional host!

The people who run this B&B are wonderful! Very friendly and accommodating. And breakfast is a real treat. Traditional German offerings combined with homemade jams and breads. The room was very spacious, the bed so comfortable and views over the lake make this place so special. It is also within walking distance of a local winery/bistro that has an incredible menu.

We have been to Penticton many times but when the kids were younger. Staying on the other side of the lake where all the wineries was such a pleasant experience. The Bed and Breakfast has a beautiful view of the lake and the vineyards. Kristen was a wonderful host and the breakfasts were delicious with many German additions. The jams and the bakery items are made in the kitchen. We highly recommend OK Whistle Stop.

Beautiful View

Beautiful gardens and a stunning view from the deck that spanned the entire length of the house. Our two bedroom was very clean, and the kitchen was an added bonus. The pool was like new and was super clean - it was perfect for cooling off after a hot ride (the trail is right beside the property?). Lovely hosts and an overall wonderful stay.

I was surprised with the size of our unit and the amenities, mini fridge, dishes, dining table , living room with separate bedroom. Keratin was an excellent host, breakfasts consisted of large call ingredients with a German style. The location was perfect for accessing KVR and local wineries and breweries. Thank you!

Exactly what we were looking for

My wife and I loved our stay at the OK Whistlestop... Just a quick two-night stay, but we loved our swim in the pool each morning and of course Kerstin's morning, homemade breakfast complete with cherry juice and served outside on the deck. Very Okanagan... Our suite was the Hamburg suite (some sites call it the Romance suite). The one-bedroom suite... Lots of room to move around with a living room, a kitchen with table and a little fridge. We loved our stay... Though we didn't bring our bikes to ride to wineries along the KVR trail, maybe that's something for next time. Thank you.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at OK Whistlestop B&B was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and thought had gone into creating such a warm and welcoming place. The suite was spotless, spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed to completely unwind after long days exploring the Okanagan. The property itself is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and offers everything you need to relax and recharge. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. Every morning featured incredible homemade baked breads, muffins, and other delicious treats that were fresh and absolutely outstanding. The homemade jams and chutneys were exceptional… easily some of the best we’ve had in the Okanagan and added such a special touch to every meal. The location couldn’t have been better. It’s perfectly situated for exploring the Naramata Bench wineries, beaches, and restaurants while still feeling quiet and tucked away. Most of all, the owners were such a thoughtful, kind, and welcoming couple. Their genuine hospitality made us feel right at home and elevated an already wonderful stay into something truly memorable. If you’re looking for a beautiful home base with exceptional breakfasts, outstanding hospitality, and a peaceful atmosphere, we can’t recommend OK Whistlestop B&B highly enough. We can’t wait to come back and visit again!

The 2 Bedroom romantic suite was immaculately clean, the beds were incredibly soft, and the view from the balcony overlooking OK lake is stunning. There is no need to find a lookout to watch the sunset if you book your stay in this suite! Kerstin is super friendly, hospitable, and has lots of great ciderys and winerys all close,depending on your wobbly walk, within walking distance. And the TCT is at the entrance of the drive so a nice walk for those up for the adventure. The breakfast is great for trying delicious German/German inspired food, I enjoyed the combinations of jams, cheeses, and meat that Kerstin presented each morning as well as housemade bread! Our stay was everything we hoped for and more, the pool, the room, the location, and the view were all perfect!

A wonderful place to stay. Owners were wonderful and very welcoming. Enjoyed my fresh breakfast every morning. The suite was perfect and the view from the patio was fantastic. The location was great. Nestled in among the wineries and orchards with bike/walking path right there. Can walk to wineries, brewery and distillery right from their home. Only an 8 min drive to downtown, which worked perfect for me. Was in town for a trade show and then could come back and relax. So much better than staying in a hotel. Can't wait to come back and stay again.

I read many positive things about the OK Whistle Stop, and booked for two nights starting August 6th as i was traveling through Penticton with my family. When we pulled up, the owner saw us and came out, saying we must have made a mistake, as they do not allow children. Even going as far as saying it states that on their website and Expedia listing. I remembered reading several reviews mentioning families staying there, and argued to no avail. I reached out to Expedia who confirmed they do allow children according to their records, but when they reached out to the owners, they said English was her second language and it might have been lost in translation. Regardless, because i didn’t specify my two young kids in the booking, they could not accommodate us and would not refund us. I am left questioning what they had to do to a two bedroom condo to accommodate a 9 and 7 year old, that couldnt have been done to service a paying customer, while Summerland burned, and every hotel in Penticton was being used to house those fleeing the fire. Generally when a customer pays for a service, the vendor should do everything in their power to accommodate and deliver, not lie, exploit and look for loopholes to keep their money. Absolutely despicable, especially given the circumstances surrounding what is currently happening in the Okanagan.

Fantastic Spot!

We went to a wedding nearby and stayed here for location. What we didn't know was how fabulous the B & B hosts were going to be, as well as the comfort of the rooms! Large space w living room and kitchen, beautiful setting and a homemade breakfast that was better than anything we could have found at a 5 star restaurant! Lovely stay!!!
