The hotel was so beautiful and so friendly! We arrived very late after a lot of traveling and the staff was so available to help us get settled. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was lovely. We would definitely stay there again!!

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. Reception staff were friendly, informative and accommodating on arrival. Staff in the bars and restaurants were very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was fantastic and plenty of parking was available

Lovely old hotel. Staff could not have been more helpful which is what would make me return. Food was very good but I felt quite pricey for certain items. Room was quite small for two sharing but we had everything we needed. Slippers and robes were a nice touch as were the biscuits. Coffee at breakfast was lovely. Shower tray was lethal, very slippy and I would recommend some sort of grippers be put down. A fridge to keep water bottles cold would have been appreciated especially as it was so hot when we stayed.

Car is essential as hotel located away from village. Spacious car park. Hotel has big park around with well maintained footpaths. Although, room required some maintenance, shower had some minor mould patches, bed was noisy and unstable. Room didn’t had A/C and walls had very little insulation, we could hear our neighbours switching lights or sockets on and off.

Charming "Castle Hotel" in the Scottish countryside, definitely some cool ambiance. Friendly staff, decent comfortable room, great breakfast and free parking with lots of space. I'd stay here again!
