“Very basic room for the price. Not like the one seen in the photo on Expedia site”

“The Dumfries Holiday Inn was an overnight stay for us. The room was large and comfortable, and in the new part of the building. It was clean and functional and we had no complaints. The dinner was of a good standard, and the staff handled a change of order mid-way well. We had wine served in a slightly dirty glass, but that was dealt with promptly and with an apology and minimal fuss. The bar staff, waitress and waiter couldn’t have nicer. “Very good. We were there when it was very hot. Provided us with a fan for the room. Had medication that needed refrigeration that they happily looked after. An amazing meal in the restaurant”

“While the outside of the building has seen better days the staff were very helpful, there was motorcycle parking I was comfortable with , and the room was spacious and clean. Pub next door did a decent dinner.”

“This is a cracking flat within a short walk of Dumfries town centre. From the outside, the flats don’t look too inspiring, but it’s clearly been renovated recently and it’s been done really nicely. The two rooms are pretty much identical doubles, and the living room/kitchen is a good size. Nice views of the river from most rooms, and a lovely small balcony coming off the main living area. Would definitely come back if in the area.”
