The staff was wonderful. The beach was great with lots of loungers and umbrellas. Great food and the rooms were beautiful with balconies overlooking the lake. A fantastic getaway.

Beautiful resort. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax. Food was delicious, with generous portions and plenty of variety, and a wholesome buffet style breakfast was perfect. complimentary access to kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards is a bonus. Beach is clean with plenty of lounge chairs.

What a great location! We stayed in the main lodge which had a beautiful room. We walked by the cabins which looked great as well. Will book those next time to try them out. Lake is beautiful and no shortage of kayaks and canoes. Lot's of people fishing off the docks. Staff were really kind and helpful and went out of their way

We were very happy with our stay at the resort. The property was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The only downside was that there wasn't always someone at the front desk, so we occasionally had to wait for assistance. Also, when we requested pool towels, it took quite a while for them to be delivered. Other than that, everything was wonderful. We had a great experience and would happily stay here again.

The room was lovely and had a balcony that faced the lake. As such we were able to see the colours of the sunrise and sunset. The resort had plenty of water toys which we were able to easily access. We will definitely be back in the fall to enjoy the autumn colours!

The staff were great. The food at the restaurant was great. This is my 3rd time at Tappattoo in 12 years. It’s a really nice place to stay and relax. My only complaint is that there wasn’t a fan in the bathroom. Just a thought; put some signs up near the beach/grass area stating, Please do not disturb the geese and goslings. I witnessed a grown man chasing and harassing the geese and goslings.

Lovely setting and family friendly. Staff were lovely. Our room was clean, however the hallway carpets and floors are tired, worn and appeared dirty. While it is difficult to keep common areas clean in a setting where there is a beach, more cleaning is required. Families were enjoying the beach and kayaks but we chose not to due to Canadian Geese on the grass and beach areas…wondering about the cleanliness of water in shallow areas. Our waiter was lovely but it took an hour for our butter chicken to arrive. It was good but not worth an hour wait. We will not be back but clearly many people were enjoying themselves.

You can tell that this place was once loved and well taken care of. It is in desperate need of maintenance and updates. The public areas were dirty and in disrepair in spots. The rooms we stayed in needed paint and the plumbing was backed up. The beds were old and sagged in the middle. The fitness room had several machines that were out of order and they were all very old (like from the 80s). The staff was polite but none of them seemed to want to be there. The food was mediocre. The view was absolutely beautiful. With a little love and money, it could be a great destination.
