Vacations Close To Wet 'n Wild Emerald Pointe Water Park

Great staff and nice hotel.

We loved our room at the Inn! We especially liked the rocking chairs on our balcony that we sat in during the evening and enjoyed the quietness of the campus view. Nice touches like free water bottles in our fridge, a welcome bottle of wine, and cozy beds made the stay even better. Highly recommend this property while you're visiting Elon.

Very disappointed in my 5 night stay. Staff is rarely at Front desk, complimentary breakfast was available (7-10:00am) although by 9:30am the eggs were dry and unkept. I noticed 2 days in a row both trash receptacles were overflowing in breakfast area, and main seating area. Surprised the ice machine only available on first floor in a 4 floor hotel. Although laundry machines are available on each floor, I was told "we are out" every day I asked to purchase a box of laundry soap. No response as to when it would be restocked. I had to purchase it myself. Biggest concern: My last evening I was able to do one large load of laundry, when I went to take it out of the dryer it was so hot. I couldn't even get my face near the clothes. I waited a minute and then as I was pulling my clothes out, they were extremely hot and the metal button on a pair of pants burned my wrist and I still have a blister( if that were a child, can't even imagine). I took photos. I don't see where I can upload them. Dryer vent not attached and stuck behind the dryer, bent severely, so all of the lint was flying in the laundry room, was filthy. Doesn't look like it was checked at all. Day 3, I requested my room to be cleaned & spoke to a hotel assoc. in the hall. I came back that evening my room had never been cleaned. Let front desk know, assoc. said "sorry". Cleaned next morning. Only positive: Lobby was always in great shape.
