The location was safe to walk around and easy to get around on foot or public transportation.

Overall, a great location. While some of the rooms have been updated, others are showing wear. Nightly dining requires reservations and those can be tough to come by. There is always the option of dining in the buffet, but the experience of the "higher end" restaurants is best. My second year in a row staying at this resort and my recollection of the food at most of the restaurants is not as it was just a year ago. Paparazzi was the best experience. Staff was warm and attentive, but the change in the beach towel strategy, while most likely better for the resort, it feels a bit cumbersome. All of the Palapas have been replaced by umbrellas. I like this and I feel this was a good move. I would also recommend booking directly with the resort and request one of the remodeled rooms.
