Air conditioning was great; despite extreme heat warnings we were very comfortable. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We were able to drop off our luggage hours before checking in, the staff even indicated a washroom as we had just arrived from the airport. Overall a wonderful stay. Just the greatest Paris Hotel in a great area.

What a wonderful 8 night stay. The hotel is lovely and clean. Breakfast was delicious and worth the price. All of the staff were great but Selima was especially helpful with booking restaurant reservations and museum and cruise tickets. She helped to make our trip in Paris amazing!

I had high hopes for this hotel, given all the great reviews. It did not live up to the high review rate. There were many good things: it was clean, the staff were friendly, it was quiet, and good options for eating within walking distance. However, if you are someone who does not like tight spaces, this hotel is not for you. I had read the elevator was extremely small, and that is no exaggeration. Only 2 people can fit comfortably. My husband and I are not large people, and we fit fine, but if anyone else had joined us, it would've been uncomfortably close. We chose to only take the elevator to go up, as we were on the 4th floor and after walking all day, did not want to walk four flights up. We took the stairs to go down. The room was very small and ours was dark, so it felt even smaller. The bathroom was nice, updated, and roomy, except for the toilet area which was tucked into a recess in the wall. The halls are also extremely narrow, so you have to walk single file, and allow people to go into doorways one at a time. The color scheme of the hotel is a dark aqua with painted beams (giving 1970s horror movie vibe). Breakfast was adequate, with no variation from day to day, except the breakfast meat. The AC was struggling to keep up, but I don’t think it was the hotel's fault. With the extreme heat, it seemed like most places with AC were not cooling well. If you are even slightly claustrophobic, I would not recommend this hotel.

The room we were given was not comparable to the one shown on Expedia booking site! First the pros - convenient location to loads of restaurants, the metro station and several points of interest. The staff was pleasant enough, the hotel was clean and the lobby and dining area was lovely. We had breakfast at the hotel just one day during our stay and it was good. Now the con - The room we were given was on the 6th floor (#627) and looked like it was more suited to the indentured servants that lived there in the 19th century, and certainly not a room that cost over $400/night! When I complained I was told that the hotel was booked and there were no other rooms available. The bed was pushed against one wall so if you needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, your choice is to climb over your partner or slide yourself down to the end of the bed. The bathroom was updated but very small - I would think if someone was on the heavier side they would have a hard time squeezing into the toilet area. I've posted photos of the room as highlighted on the Expedia site and the room we were given.

Good hotel, but I wouldn’t say it’s great. The room was quite small as expected, and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the washroom, especially the shower. But wow was the toilet in a tight spot. Best thing about this hotel was the location - plenty of restaurants and cafes around it, and very close to the metro.
