I stayed in a single room for three nights. It was a perfect, affordable alternative to staying in a hostel. The room was clean and had all the basics. The shared bathroom and shower worked great. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful and cleaners tidied the room every day. I strongly recommend Hotel Tolbiac for any solo travellers looking for an affordable spot to stay, especially if you’re hostel’d out and looking for a little privacy.

Convenient budget hotel

I am satisfied with my the stay. Budget hotel located in proximity of metro station and Place d'Italie with many restaurants and shops. Room equiped with private bathroom and shower. Descent breakfast for a little price extra which is convenient.

This is unashamedly à “budget” hotel by Paris standards. No frills expected and none found. But it was reasonably clean, secure and I got a good night’s sleep. I didn’t sample the breakfast as you can get coffee and croissant almost anywhere. Staff were helpful when asked.
