The hotel’s location was excellent. It was close to the Louvre Museum, restaurants, shopping centers, parks, and the metro, which made it very convenient for getting around the city. The hotel itself was clean, and the room was relatively spacious considering the price. It’s hard to find a room of this size at the same price in such a central location. There were a few issues, though. The air conditioning in our room wasn’t cooling properly, the shower was broken, and the elevator was quite small. However, these were relatively minor issues and understandable to some extent, especially given the hotel’s central location. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and think the hotel offers good value for money. However, keep these issues in mind when booking. Also, we were charged an additional tourist tax per person, so be aware that there is an extra charge on top of the room price.

We loved our stay at this small but comfortable and very welcoming hotel. The staff could not be more charming or accommodating. Breakfast is good and they have the delightful custom of offering a free tea between 4 and 6pm. The bedroom (I think we had the mid price) was frankly not large, but not so small as to be claustrophobic and the bed was firmly comfortable. The bathroom was tiny, however, and although they provide towelling gowns, you would certainly need to squeeze out of the room to put one on! Still, it was bright and clean and everything worked efficiently. There is a pleasant room next to the lobby where you can sit and read the papers or whatever, but there is no bar, which is perhaps a miss for those who like a nightcap on returning after dinner. The area is great - close to the Louvre and Palais Royal, to all the Korean and Japanese restaurants around Rue St Anne and to the high end shopping of Place Vendôme and Rue St Honore etc. Altogether, I think this makes the hotel good value and you are going to pay a lot more for more space in this location. And wherever you go, you will not find more helpful or engaging staff! We hope to return.
