If you find yourself in Papenburg this is a great spot. Excellent bar and restaurant and the rooms are absolutely fine. 4 minutes walk from train station if that’s how you’re arriving. They can also organise taxis to take you on afterwards but make sure you have cash for those. Will definitely stay again when I’m in papenburg

Make sure you don't end up in the Hafenturm part of the hotel. No ventilation in the rooms and no AC either. Coupled with the fact that the rooms are facing the railway line and you need to keep the window open for some chance of oxygen supply means poor sleep in very hot and noisy conditions

Wir kommen jedes Jahr wieder und genießen unsere Nacht im Hotel „Alte Werft“. Die Zimmer sind ruhig, geräumig und gut gepflegt. Das Highlight für uns ist immer das Frühstück- die Auswahl ist phantastisch. Nur leider wurde beim letzten Mal Rührei aus der Tüte serviert. Diese Sparmaßnahme bitte GANZ SCHNELL wieder rückgängig machen. Das passt nicht zu dem qualitativ hochwertigem Rest! Wir werden es nächstes Jahr überprüfen ;-)

Wir haben uns im Hotel wohlgefühlt. Das Ambiente, vor allem im Restaurantbereich, ist schon besonders. Das Restaurant selber ist hervorrragend. Was für ein 4-Sterne Hotel etwas ungewöhnlich war, ist das Fehlen eines Mini-Kühlschrankes in den Standard-Zimmern. Die Klimaanlage haben wir einmal eingeschaltet und diese war recht leise. Wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
