Overall planet Hollywood is a chill resort. There isn’t much to do after 7pm. The pools and bars close early. If you want something off the grid ish and just want to relax then it it’s ok for the price. Food was just ok, many of the restaurants use a lot of salt. Staff is very friendly.

The staff and workers were nice and polite at all time. There was no hot water which it difficult to get ready to travel home. I called twice, told the front desk while checking out. Nothing was done or offered for the inconvenience. The food was delicious especially at the speciality restaurants.

10+! If your budget allows you to upgrade to STAR level- Do It! It was worth the extra costs. A big thank you to Antonio for making our stay so memorable. Pools are great, hydro therapy felt oh so good! Restaurants were delicious! The buffet had a delicious choice of regional foods as well! I am just getting home and can’t wait to return! Do be careful of the Nexus Tours. My recommendation is to do short trips. We did the Nicaragua all day tour and it was minimally 12 hours in the shuttle! It was not worth losing a whole day at the resort for 5 minutes at the volcano. Coupon book had so many exclusions that we ended up not using any of the coupons. But not a big enough deal to make me love this trip any less! Resort is very family focused for kids of all ages. The beach and water was amazing.

Daniel my personal assistant made this birthday trip for my daughter and I so much special . He arranged dinner at all the restaurants and surprises us with a birthday celebration at the steakhouse. Once we came back to the room it was decorated with balloons, chocolate covered strawberries and he left a birthday note for my daughter. We stay in the Star Class Junior Ocean View Suite. The room was clean and smelling pleasant every day.
