The staff is what makes the stay! An absolutely phenomenal group of people who truly care about you and what they do. Buffet food was great although the a la carte restaurants stood out. From the moment I checked in with Mitzi, to the little tour and information provided by the bellhop Elvin to even the servers and hosts (I wish I could remember everyone's name!) but quite the excellent stay. I absolutely fell in love with Costa Rica and will be back!! There were a few snags along the way but they were rectified swiftly and with service above and beyond what I expected.

The view was amazing. The beach is horrible. The food is mediocre. The Italian restaurant was delicious but if you don't make a reservation at any of the 3 restaurants you will be eating at the buffet. There a barely any activities or bars. I would not return.

Buffet was ok. I’ve never been to a resort with such a small variety. Air conditioner didn’t work in our room. Night Entertainment you could sit and read a book through it. Definitely resort not for people who like to dress up every night. Beach area was bad. This resort was beautiful but not impressed at all with the amenities or food. If you like a quiet vacation this is the place.

The front desk, bartenders and shuttle drivers are the best!! They go out of their way to make everything perfect!! The location is what makes this resort great...the views are awesome. The beach area is nice! The rooms are a bit dated and we did not have hot water the first 2 days... and it wasn't for lack of the staff trying!! They did finally fix it and that helped immensely!! Housekeeping staff was mediocre at best. The food was really good... we would visit again!

Resort was clean and property was well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great views and a nice beach with shade and a breeze for the hot afternoons. Food was good, but options were a bit limited. Lots of hills and stairs to walk around the property, but there was a readily available shuttle if you didn't want to walk. Overall a nice resort.

The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff were exceptional. The tours available at the resort are well worth pursuing with excellent guides. It would be nice to have more benches while waiting for the shuttles, and perhaps some call boxes. Having more umbrellas at the pool would be welcome, and it would be great if the pools were open longer in the evening. The ocean beach here is lovely with lots of big shade trees, and nightly visits from howler monkeys and coatis provided entertainment . I highly recommend this resort!

Incredible views from the premium rooms. Beautiful public beach. The driving staff was very accommodating. Enjoyed the premium lounge for a quiet cool break. I recommend the buffet and staff at the snack bar. We enjoyed breakfast there in a quiet and professional setting. Lots of elevation and many stairs between the rooms and amenities.
