Wonderfully helpful staff. For Europe, very spacious room. Well furnished. Be aware that this property is like other Italian hotels with lobby on 2nd floor, not a large main lobby that Americans might be used to. There is an elevator, so bags don’t have to be lugged up multiple flights of stairs. Would certainly recommend Alma.

Clean room, friendly staff and great location near the historic center. Arriving from the railway station (with luggage) the hotel is easily reachable by bus. Our small balcony was facing the street, with single glazed windows, so the complimentary earplugs in the room came in handy.

Nice quiet hotel in the middle of Palermo. Very good included breakfast. Within walking distance (~ 15-20 min) to attractions such as Teatro Palermo di Massimo and Quatro Canti. The staff recommended restaurant (Sapori Perduti) a few blocks away - same owners - was a really special memorable meal (fantastic, melt in your mouth swordfish). Pasta was excellent as well (e.g. I chose handmade pasta made with red beets). After travelling to Palermo from the mainland during the day, hotel staff were amazing, as were the the people of Palermo. Everyone we met were so warm, helpful and welcoming, It made our stay memorable.

Really well located hotel right outside the pedestrian zone in Palermo. In just 5 minutes you are in front of Teatro Massimo. The hotel is very secure, the staff is very friendly. Also important to note that the staff is the same everyday, and you’ll see the same ppl greeting you which is nice. The breakfast is everything you need to start a day. Small and fresh selection of cheese and meat, cereal, yogurts and of course their sweets. Rooms are very comfortable, with excellent bedding and mattresses. Very strong Air conditioning, and a great shower/bathroom. I would certainly recommend for couples and would stay again.
