I like that it is pet-friendly, and the breakfast was okay. The room was the worst part—it was dirty, and there were A LOT of cockroaches. The water from the sprinklers also smelled bad.

My room overlooked the pool and the river. Beautiful views! The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the pool was fun, the staff gave me a new key when I left my keys in the room and closed the door, and the location was convenient.

I really appreciated the screening on the outdoor walkways to keep the flying bugs and mosquitos the size of birds at bay. The breakfast was decent. I appreciated the separate eggs and sausage (instead of pre-assembled biscuit sandwiches), as I am gluten-free, so this gave me better breakfast options. The room was clean and comfortable, with good AC (important in August). The pool looked inviting, but we didn't get a chance to use it. I saw other guests using the docks at night to crab and fish, too. Definitely would stay here again.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. No issues there really. BUT, the outside was terrible! I was so disappointed in the amount of people on the lawn between the hotel and the riverbank. They were drinking, listening to loud music all night, shrimping off the dock (not a problem until you tried to walk down the dock in the morning and it was full of trash! from the night before). There was a terrible dead shrmimp smell in the little walkway between my room (a corner room) and the front where the parking lot was. Lots of people with all their belongings just hanging out grilling and partying on the lawn right in front or our rooms. It was really disappointing.

The room was very clean and the view was wonderful, the staff was amazing, they provide all the toiletries we forgot and bottles of water. I forgot my cell at the room and they hold it for me at the reception.

The property is well maintained and conveniently located.with in walking distance to train station, rental car,or restaurants.Smelled a little musty when I first got there,by didn't notice it next 3 days.It is more like a motel where your door exists to the outside and not a hallway.If someone wanted to bother you they could access your door without going past a front desk. Great value for the price.
