This was actually a small apartment which suited us well for our trip to Mt. Rainer NP. The full kitchen was great and allowed us to fix food we wished, rather than eat out. The location was very convenient to the south and east sides of the park. Highly recommend!

Very good location only 10 miles from the Steven’s canyon entrance to Ranier national park. Only 1/2 mile to the limited restaurants in Packwood but kitchenette in most rooms. Seeing elk/deer outside our window in the morning was super cool. Ask for a cabin in the back/side for less road traffic. Did have some bug issues in our room but nothing than a good stomp did the trick.Still may be the best hotel option in the area.

We were welcomed with a smiley staff who let us know they have done some renovations and would love our feedback. The rooms were pretty with cabin decor, microwave and fridge along with being very clean. You can see a lot of work was done. The next area that should get TLC would be the bathrooms, although still clean they are very old, small and tight to maneuver in. We had the pleasure of seeing elk up close in the back yard as well! Thank you Mountain View Lodge for a wonderful stay!

Room was comfortable, and the overall stay was excellent. The location is very convenient, being close to Mount Rainier. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and hassle-free. We arrived very late on the first day, but the staff had thoughtfully prepared an envelope with all the stay details and clear instructions, making the late check-in extremely easy. The kitchen was clean and well-maintained, and the surroundings were calm, peaceful, and relaxing. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

We stayed in a room with two queen beds and a full kitchen. It was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had what we needed to make a full breakfast. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. Parking was easy. The staff was friendly and responsive. The motel is close to town and the national park. It was very quiet. The motel is older, but our room was just what we needed and not ridiculously priced like other places in the area.

Very basic older motel, ok enough, high price due to proximity of park. Keurig in room.No breakfast or other amenities. They said they’d leave a key in box bc of our late evening arrival (although it was not after the posted arrival times). Key was not in box; fortunately management emergency phone # on front door called the motel manager to come back to check us in.
