“Everything about our stay was very good. Lovely clean room with everything we needed. Large bath with very hot water . Kettle with tea, coffee , biscuits etc , hairdryer and iron. Dinner was good and the breakfasts were freshly prepared. We enjoyed our drinks in the bar and the prices were very reasonable. Staff Lovely and friendly, will certainly think of returning. ”

“Seemed understaffed dinner orders were slow. Neither bathroom or shower had anywhere to place your toiletries. Hot weather with no fan leaving window open meant constant traffic noise.”

“We were in the twin room, which has the longest bath that I’ve had the pleasure of reclining in for a long time! The rest of the room was also faultless and the dinner / breakfast were both excellent. It looked like they were a member of staff down in the bar and it was a bust summer’s evening but they coped ok and the food service was very efficient. We will happily stay there again.”

The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. ”
