“The team were friendly and helpful we stayed in a very clean and well presented room (No 11) that had a beautiful bathroom. The onsite restaurant served really good quality food and the continental breakfast delivered to your room in a hamper was excellent would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.”

“Sorry to give such a bad rating because the hotel was fine. The issue was a wedding that had a loud disco and noisy drunk guests until midnight. I only got to sleep properly about 1am and was shattered for the next 2 days, it was a long drive there and back to get to the hotel and I was on a paid course so not a good experience.”

“The curtains within Room 222 were far too long and were a health and safety hazard especially for the elderly generation. Bathroom fan did not operate within said room. The Queen size bed mattress was very lumpy and needs to be replaced. On Sunday 30th August 2026 I organised Sunday lunch for five persons, 3 of my relatives and my wife and I. “Unfortunately my wife had fairly bad illness during our stay, through no fault of the hotel, but I would like to praise the staff, especially the night manager for the assistance to transfer my wife to hospital.”

“As the name states this is an old inn. Room was decorated accordingly. Comfy beds with a reasonable sized ensuite. Evening meal was lovely and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good and cooked to order. All staff that we met were friendly.”
