The room was a decent size with seperate bathroom and the much needed A/C worked well to beat the jeat between outings to meet friends around Canada Day. The on-site parking was very handy, as was the bicycle lockup, and the breakfasts varied a little each day and were wonderful. Happy to recommend and stay again!

McGee’s Inn is a Bed and Breakfast which rates in the superior category. Our room was in the Egyptian style and was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and the selection was varied. The staff, a family run operation were very helpful. If in Ottawa this will definitely be our choice again. We easily walked into downtown for all our sightseeing.

The property is unique being a 19th century Victorian walk-up three story house. The dining area is absolutely beautiful with great food and service. Room 19 was small yet had all the amenities we needed. I highly recommend Inn McGee.

Enjoyed my 3-day stay very much. I had the room with a the screened sleeping porch. Very lovely in early morning and late evenings. Breakfasts are simple but delicious. Quiet location and convenient. Though not a great area immediately nearby. But within short walking distance to restaurants and Parliament buildings. Overall, an excellent place to stay near downtown Ottawa.

This is home built in 1886. If you like that idea, you will love it. Old stairs, old rooms well maintained and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and loved our room. Breakfast was delicious.

The Inn is very charming however the area is not the best. I would say that Ottawa was disappointing bc of a lot of of homeless and drugs. I had to explain to my 11 years’ old son the situation when walking back and forth to the Inn. Obviously it’s not the owner’s fault. I didn’t address it with the owners, but the fridge was making tons of noises so I had to unplug to sleep… It was very dirty under the desk with lots of dirt and dust. Most of the other amenities were well maintained so no issues there… It’s a very charming establishment, but the area was disappointing and not what I was expecting. Parking was easy.
