Business stop at Östersund

Nice two days business visit at Östersund, hotel is in good spot right in the hard of the town, depite to that it was easy to find free over night place for big van I was travelling.

Noisy !

Asked hotel if the nightclub was operational due to previous bad reviews. They promised me it was closed but on friday and saturday night it was fully functioning till early hours of the morning.

Hyggelig betjening , gode senger, fine og rene rom

Veldig trivelig og fint hotell. Ble tatt imot av hyggelig betjening. Rommet var rent og gode senger. Varmt pÄ gulvet pÄ badet, noe som ikke er pÄ alle hotell. Kort fortalt, vi hadde et flott oppholde ogsÄ for vÄr lille firbeinte.

Lyhört och inte helt rent

VÀldigt trevlig personal och smidigt lÀge men tyvÀrr inte alls optimalt för jobbresa. VÀldigt lyhört rum dÀr varje person som gick förbi i korridoren kÀndes som att den var precis vid sÀngen. Det blev inte bÀttre av att det var ett antal bröliga killar pÄ samma vÄningsplan. Alla deras ljud kom in i rummet. I min sedvanliga koll efter vÀgglöss hittade jag lyckligtvis inga löss men dÀremot chips, hÄr och annat skrÀp i och under sÀngen. Det kÀndes inte rent. Frukosten var av blandad kvalité: gott bröd och tvÄ olika smoothies men hÄrda pannkakor som pÄminde om skolbespisning och blaskigt kaffe. Jag kommer inte att bo hÀr igen utan istÀllet ÄtervÀnda till andra hotell i samma stad som hÄller högre standard men till samma pris.

Fint & centralt. Men tyvÀrr sÄ lÀt det vÀldigt illa frÄn ventilationen i badrummet, det hördes ut Àven med stÀngd dörr. Det var Àven hÄrvax pÄ sÀnggaveln efter nÄgon hade suttit och lutat sig mot den. Det var förmodligen bara en miss dÄ resten av rummet var fint stÀdat.

Fint pÄ ytan men vÀldigt opraktiskt

Fint inrett hotell med trevlig personal, men det rum vi fick kÀndes vÀldigt trÄngt och opraktiskt för att vara ett familjerum. Funktion och komfort hade tyvÀrr flera brister. Plus: +Smakfull inredning och bra materialval. +Trevlig och hjÀlpsam personal. Minus: -TrÄngt familjerum, hÄrda sÀngar och obekvÀma kuddar. -DÄlig ventilation och mycket varmt (ingen AC, vÀrmealstrande kylskÄp och golvvÀrme som inte gick att stÀnga av). -Endast mörklÀggningsgardiner, saknade tunna för insynsskydd men ljusinslÀpp.(Vilket hade behövts i och med den undermÄliga belysningen) -VÀldigt svag belysning i rum och badrum, svÄrt att göra sig i ordning. -Mycket litet duschutrymme med överdimensionerad takdusch som blötte ner halva badrummet i och med att den halvt hÀngde över duschdraperiet.

Varma dagar i Östersund

Perfekt lÀge mitt i stan, nÀra till allt. Bra stÀdat och trevlig personal. Tyst och ostört. SöderlÀge gjorde rummet otroligt varmt under de heta sommardagarna och hÀr var det ett par saker som felade. För det första sÄ gick handdukstorken inte att slÄ av sÄ den öste ut vÀrme i det redan varma badrummet. Sen var det lite tokigt med bara mörklÀggningsgardiner. Persienner eller rullgardin hade varit effektivare mot strÄlvÀrden frÄn de stora fönstren. Men i det stora hela var det ok.
