The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. You could tell there had been some recent renovations. However there was no one to man the front desk. You had to call for service and the person who came could not speak English so communication was difficult. Our room was also near the front door and every time someone walked in the door you could hear the bell ring which kept us up most of the night. The toilet also ran all night because it leaked.

The only thing that I would like is a room darkening shade. It was very clean. I was surprised at not having carpet so i would tell anyone to have slippers. Coffee in the lobby would ne great! Very personable front desk people

Recently renovated, and updated. Clean, and comfortable. Staff was very friendly, and accommodating. Location was very convenient, with stores, and restaurants within easy walking distance. I would recommend this inn to anyone as a great place to stay.

The on-site staff were extremely courteous and attended to our concerns promptly. While the exterior, and some areas inside, seem to have been updated, there is still much to be done. Very bare-bones, but overall a reasonably-priced property if all you want to do is get some rest.

Senior travelers.

We needed a basic nights stay as we passed through the area on our way to MN. This hotel met our needs. Easy access from the highway. No pool or fancy breakfast but we werent looking for that on this stay. We were put in a newly remodeled room. The young man who checked us in was very friendly and told us bit of the hotels history and future plans.

I worked for the night we needed it for on a long trip with a young child. Staff was helpful as the layout of the hotel was very confusing and hard to navigate. Only issue we with the room was that the TV was not operational. Didn't bother to inform staff as we were there for one night.

Our stay at Smartwood Inn was very nice. The room was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. They replaced the television as it was not working properly. The bed was comfortable. We had a restful stay. I would recommend this hotel.
