The reception staff topped all other hotel-stays during our trip. I can’t say enough about their great welcoming, go beyond and above to assist and help guests. They made our 3 nights . We want to thank especially Sondre, Rilkke and Emil. A couple of things that we would appreciate if: more bread selection, the sunny side eggs are not pre-prepared ahead of time and more cheese selections as they serve Brie only. Thank you and will come back again.

For most this will be a non issue, but the TVs are quite old, and they have overhauled them with their own hotel interface, unfortunately for a tech head like me it made it harder to connect devices. They have Chromecast, but you'd better prey your device has it. The safe wouldnt work, and even the phone in the room (the style over substance red phone) would ring but when you picked up it wouldn't answer. The smart tech in the room seemed to have a life of its own, opening and shutting blinds to its own accord. Also the air con gets so loud it was hard to sleep, but I am particularly sensitive. The breakfast was nice, seemed to cater to the fried breakfast and cold meat crowd. Cereal was there, but lots of dried fruits instead of more fresh ones.

Breakfast was great, but the bed setup was disappointing. I reserved a king-size bed for two guests well in advance, yet I was given two single beds. The staff did not offer a room change and simply pushed the beds together. When I contacted the front desk, I was told the hotel was fully booked, and they couldn’t provide a king room. Overall, the sleep did not comfort, and the reservation handling did not meet expectations.
