Communication over email was slow, however the location once there gave easy access to the umeda Osaka Train station and surrounding shopping area. The room was spacious enough but old, with a small bathroom. If was functional but in need of a coat of paint and new carpet. Otherwise it was clean and worked for our needs

The location is easy to find, breakfast is good, especially black curry. Although most of staffs are barely to speak English, but everyone try to solve this problem by using Google translate, which is very impressive.

Trip to Osaka- great stay🙂

They might we arrived we asked for an upgrade, which they happily did&the room was great. The staff were friendly - did their best to help. Google translate was a great help but we like that the reception area supplied free water/coffee, which was handy after a long day out. We really liked how there was souvenirs on the premises to buy, my husband looks his hat. Breakfast was lovely although would have like more variety. The hotel was easy to find, within walking distance of Osaka station, great selection of restaurants & loved the shops

The location is perfect for travelers who want to be close to nightlife, restaurants, and plenty of places to eat and drink. It’s very convenient if you plan on spending most of your time exploring Osaka rather than staying in your room. The room itself, however, was quite small and noticeably dated. It could definitely benefit from some renovations and a more thorough cleaning. If you’re not particularly picky about accommodations, the very firm bed and somewhat worn comforter may be perfectly fine for a short stay. The bathroom is also extremely small, but it’s functional and gets the job done. The real highlights of Hotel Kansai were the free water and the breakfast buffet. Having complimentary water available was especially appreciated during Osaka’s scorching summer heat. The breakfast buffet was also an excellent value at only ¥1,200, with an impressive variety of food and drinks. It was easily my favorite part of the hotel. Would I stay here again? Probably not. The condition and comfort of the room just weren’t quite for me. However, I would absolutely come back for the breakfast or brunch. For travelers who prioritize location and affordability over room quality, it could still be a convenient option.

When you first arrive you get a horrible smell of cigarettes. This place was so dirty that there was stains on every wall. Grossed out by every aspect of this so called hotel more like motel.
