We stayed at a total of 4 hotels over 9 days in the Orlando area and this was by far our favorite even over Disney and higher priced Universal hotels. The beds were comfy, hotel was smaller and not as crowded, great entertainment options, easy transportation to Universal locations and super helpful staff! We will be staying here again on our next Orlando trip!

My family and I absolutely loved this hotel. The hotel alone had so many great amenities that we could enjoy. We were able to get into the parks an hr early and enjoy before the crowd got in. That hr was definitely worth it. The staff was amazing, very nice, very helpful, and very appreciative. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, and will book again in the future.

Better than Disney! Hands down better staff, better amenities, cleaner areas. Last time we stayed at Animation at Disney garbage cans were overflowing, food left outside doors for over a day. Surfside, was amazing! Completely different, comfortable, friendly and impeccable pool experience! Can't wait to go back! The staff were beyond professional.

The place is a clean value minded hotel. The staff was great, but if you're looking for better in room food options or top notch beds, probably better to stay at a higher end hotel, however for the money, it was good.

We had a wonderful stay. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival, which was a fun surprise! The room and property were clean, our room was refreshed daily, the shuttles to the parks were quick (we never had to wait more than a few minutes and often walked right on), and every employee was kind, professional, and helpful. We would stay here again without hesitation.

This was not our first stay here. We had a blast again we brought our 5 year old grandson and he loved it. The cafeteria style kitchen was great if eating in the resort. The shuttles are one of the reasons we stay at Universal Studios properties they are on time and plentiful for all parks and hotels. No need to think about booking here just do it!!!!!!

this was a great budget resort for a trip to Universal. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly. We would have liked a restaurant or more food options on the premises but aside from that it was a great stay. Did get a little loud in the room when the room next door was a bit loud at night, we had an adjoining room so we could hear them through the adjoining door. Bus ride to the park was quick and easy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was very clean and nice. There is a cafe downstairs and they are open late 11pm which is good when you’re coming back late from the parks. The pool is also open late which is nice for night swimming. The hotel was very nice.
