I really love the hotel overall . Just the cleanliness could be better and needs a bit renovation. We love the jacuzzi, the swimming the play area for the kids it’s the first hotel that has it . My kids loved it.

We recently stayed at this property with our 5 kids. Amenities were amazing, staff responsive. The kids loved the games room and 2 pools plus indoor outdoor hot tubs. Room was spacious and location was great!

This resort-style hotel offered an exceptional retreat. The pool area was impeccably maintained and aesthetically pleasing. The comfortable bedding ensured a restful night's sleep. Our young traveler enjoyed the petting zoo and outdoor playground. The grounds were well-maintained, allowing for an enjoyable long walk in the cooler evening.

Great place to stay while visiting the area. So much to do around Orford, Magog and other towns close by. Hotel itself was clean and quiet. It does need some TLC on the outside but did not disappoint. The kids playroom room was an awesome addition your kids will love it.

This is our second time in this hotel but I don't think that we will come back again. The kids play room is great and there is a small petting zoo with a nice pool. However, the rooms are outdated, there was a moldy small in one of our rooms and we didn't have a good stay. Unless you have young kids it is not worth it.

Overall, I would definitely recommend it for a short stay, especially for families with young kids. The property is old and dated, in need of renovation. The checkin time is 6pm, I found this odd and quite late, it would be nice to checkin earlier, like 3 or 4 pm. The property has lots of play areas, indoor and outdoor. The indoor play room has slides, bouncy castles, trampolines, etc for kids. There is also table tennis, foosball, and billiards tables for grown ups. There is also, an outdoor pool and an indoor pool. The indoor pool definitely needs an upgrade, the area surrounding the pool and the changing rooms were all wet and slippery, with no attendant to be found. Although, the place has some quirks, we enjoyed our stay and liked the hotel.

Review This is an old hotel that, in my opinion, is far from meeting the standards of a 4-star hotel. The hallway leading to our room on the 3rd floor smelled dusty and poorly ventilated. Fortunately, the room itself was clean and did not have the same unpleasant smell. However, the mattress was uncomfortable. I honestly can’t remember the last time I had such a poor-quality mattress in a 3-star hotel or higher. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not worth the visit.

The room had been updated and was nice. The hallways and dining areas also need updating. The carpet is old, stained and worn. Paint chips on the ceiling in the outdoor seating area. They had a very limited menu and the food was OK. The pool looked good and has a slide. We didn't have the opportunity to use it but others were enjoying it. It was in good proximity to Mt Orford which we planned to hike. The staff was very pleasant.

The staff was helpful, the rooms spacious and clean. The issue was the dining room it was not open for our two night stay, Monday and Tuesday. Other arrangements were made. The snack bar was closed on the Tuesday due to possible rain weather, however it didn’t rain (the snack bar is outside) so no drinks were available and the vending machines did not work. Missed the fine print that breakfast was not included and paid 25.00 for a small plate. The actual hotel is nice if you are well prepared and stocked up on snacks and drinks.

Mixed review. Pros: location, room size, kid amenities are super fun and open late, kids cinema room and video games, pretty flowers around the grounds. Pretty clean, even if dated. Those were all the reasons we booked. Cons: no housekeeping, but no clear instructions on where to empty trash. Bathtub in bedroom-- I would have preferred a closet to hang my things. No screens on some windows. No central a/c. Older window unit a/c with questionable filter. Low quality sheets and pillows. Some areas very worn down.

Good place for families with a couple of pools and a large game room. Our room was good with the following exceptions. The mattress was way too soft, you could easily roll off of it if laying too close to the sides. The shower water smelled of rotten eggs. The faucet water was fine. The AC was set on heat when we arrived, we had to keep the door open to get fresh air. It never really got cool to our liking. The spas were not working properly as there were no significant jets operating and no place to turn them on. The water was only lukewarm in both. The outside spa was very dirty with a fair amount of "sand" on the bottom. This must have been a really nice place at one time but it needs some serious renovations inside and outside. The building looks very old and unattended to. The phone in our room was yellowed and dates from the 1970s. I wouldn't go back there unless they renovated the property.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this property. Let's get one thing out of the way - it's showing its age. It's not by any means modern. But, it's clean, fairly well maintained, and the amenities are second to none. It has a massive kids' play area with bouncy castles, video games, billiards, foosball, ping-pong tables; an indoor and outdoor pool with a water slide (we only visited the outdoor), an on-site petting zoo(!), multiple playgrounds, and a pond with ducks and geese to sit and ponder. Most of these are of course kids-oriented, but combined with the activities in the area, one could easily spend a week at this resort. There are also two EV chargers on site (7kWh / $3.50 per hour) - slow, but does the job. Of the negatives - the breakfast was not included in our stay, and for an average buffet it's on the expensive side ($25 adult / $15 kids). We ended up going to a nice cafe 5 minutes away. We spent two nights at this property and were very pleased with our experience. Would highly recommend to those vacationing with kids. As a corollary, if you're looking for a more grownup experience, you'll probably want to skip this one. Our family loved it though.

The staff was friendly. However, they either could not or would not address the issues that were brought up. Understandable: The rooms were not cleaned after check in. That might be because we didn't use the door hanger to indicate "please clean the room" usually that's the default, but I understand the policy. Staff would not deliver essentials forcing guest to pick them up from the front desk-again maybe policy. Still annoying. Odd: A bottleneck was created because of forced on-line check-in. Which does not work through Expedia. Unacceptable: 2/3 first issued door keys did not work. This was reported 4 times. 10 keys were cut and none of them worked. Workarounds about Master keys or door reboots were offered but never implemented. We kept having to share 1 key with 3 users. Air conditioning was stuck on low. It was reported, nothing was done. All in all, the price was very reasonable but being without sufficient air conditioning on one of the hottest weekends will mean that I won't risk coming back. PS: The WiFi was exceptionally good.
