“I personally like the convenience and privacy of an ensuite, which is the only reason Trecastle doesn't get five stars all the way. That aside it's an excellent place to stay with lovely, friendly hosts and secure garage parking for my motorbike. I will return.”

“It is a beautiful old French house with many traditional features we enjoyed a lovely stay there. Sondrine the proprietor was extremely helpful in every aspect from helping us with our poor French language skills to everything you can mention cannot rate it highly enough.”

“It was an unforgettable stay . “If you are visiting the Dordogne region, this is an excellent property. Great location. Excellent bar downstairs and a restaurant. Several restaurants within a short driving distance. Good places to enjoy nearby.”
