“Nice place overall. It’s very quiet, cozy, and comfortable. I stayed in a room with a shared bathroom, and overall it was not bad. The only downside was that there was a bathroom belonging to another room right behind the door of my room. Unfortunately, I could hear pretty much everything whenever they went to used it, which was uncomfortable. “The Mermaid Inn is one of our favorite motels. The rooms are decorated with a Mermaid/nautical style with some retro appliances. Overall gives a very homey feeling. Rooms are very clean, staff is really friendly and helpful. Situated between a gas station/store and a Mexican restaurant you have access to fresh food and all the amenities you might have forgotten to pack. “This place is amazing. I had parking right in front. Easy self-check in. It was like a studio apartment *without the kitchen. Couch, coffee table, tv, coffee bar, comfy bed. The bathroom was clean but a bit small. Tight with the door and sink and toilet. Had a crouch in the shower to rinse (I'm just 5'10"). Minor details! Would 💯 book this place again. In a heartbeat! Groceries, restaurants, Marsh Museum, drive-thru coffee just 5-10 minutes up the road.”
