The rooms were very clean. The Inn was closer than I thought to the boardwalk. Very convenient to everything we wanted to be near. We will be staying here again.

Look for the price you’re getting it at don’t expect a 5-star hotel. It’s a great value and location for what you’re paying. It’s not bad and definitely worth it

Room smelled like moth balls and mildew, the remote to the tv didn’t work so had to go to the front desk for help the bathroom had a window in it and you was able to see out side and inside the bathroom while using

My pet wet the bed while I was away at the beach and when I asked for new sheets they said they couldn’t provide because housekeeping was away. So I had to get a new set of sheets. No microwave in the room to heat up leftovers. Found some specialized bug in the mattress and the bathroom fits half a person…

Room was outdated. WiFi wasn’t working so we couldn’t use the Roku TV without using my personal hotspot. Ants in the room- not many but definitely noticeable. Sink in bathroom didn’t drain well. Window in bathroom was broken. This was a pet friendly room & it definitely showed. It was clean but the floors were pretty stained. We were only here for 2 days so it was fine but not sure I’d want to stay longer.

The sheets and room were relatively clean, but there are no minimally useful curtains. The light at night is no joke, as if it was daylight, and the flimsy and broken venetians did nothing. Being carton and tape with you.

Ants in the room. Shower curtain was half the size it needed to be. Mini blinds broken so anyone can look in the room. Overall dirty but cheap. Can't really complain bc the price. You get what you pay for.

The place was filthy, the pillows were dirty and stained with mold the room was smelling like mold, the refrigerator was rusted and barely working the bathroom hinges and door knobs all rusty. The front door knob was loose and wobble. The window had no curtains only blinds and lights outside property were on all night made hard to sleep with bright lights on, the ac was very loud each time it turned on. There was no water in the room the next afternoon after checking in. You could hear everything from the outside and next door guests. The price is extremely high for this place which is very nice, neither is ocean front. This is by far the worst experience I have had staying at a hotel. I never give feedback to places I stayed at but this one is total ripped off. I wished I had read the reviews before booking my stay but unfortunately didn’t spend the time to do so. So disappointing for the price I paid almost a $1k for 3 days

I arrived to the room and immediately noticed the overpowering smell of what seemed like Lysol and pest spray. The blanket on the bed felt like it had a film on it. The bathroom was atrocious....feces stains still in the toilet and very large dirty spots all over the mirror....much too large to give the benefit of the doubt that staff could have missed it. Finally (and worst of all), the room was not secure. When I closed the door behind me and locked it, you could see a sizable amount of daylight through the door. An average person could easily kick that door in with one attempt. At this point, I told the staff I did not need the room any more. He was extremely polite and professional and seemed to know the state of the room was unacceptable. He offered to reimburse me for the two nights. I realize the room was a very low rate, however I expect the room to at least be clean and safe for use.

Room was not clean. I had 2 dogs, mid week. They put everyone that checked in on either side of us. Plenty of other rooms to spread some folks out, dogs went nuts with every noise from the neighbors. Did not see a maid or cleaning crew. Had to ask for more towels after a couple days.

It’s cheaper hotel. OK for a night stay. But the fit and finish of the whole hotel leaves a lot to be desired

I left after 10 minutes upon seeing the unsanitary and even more importantly the unsafe conditions. The so-called lock on each door was the kind used on an inside bathroom that could be opened with a fingernail. Each key had the room number on it and all the keys were kept in an unlocked mailbox on the side walk where anyone could take the key and either enter immediately or make a copy and use it any time. There was no staff present to discuss any concerns as the door to the small office at the hotel next door, the Ocean Breeze, which is where the Marlin's business is conducted was locked with a sign saying"closed". In general, this was the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel in the US or even overseas.

It’s a decent motel for the price we paid last minute. I mean I wasn’t expecting to find any vacancy under $115 at least but I scrolled upon the white marlin motel and they happened to have 2 double beds available for under $100 plus they were in walking distance to the boardwalk and beach… but they do charge a refundable deposit fee i failed to notice before booking as well as a $15 parking spot. The room was a bit small and bathroom was quite small as well. There was a few uneven spots on the floor . Either way i was satisfied with my stay and happy with the outcome…

Room was disgusting. Mold all over the ceiling and bathroom. No mattress covers or bedbug covers on the beds. Sheets you could see through right on the mattress. Furniture broken, sticky and dirty. While property was dirty.
