Place is great if you’re looking for somewhere, not too expensive to stay but cleaner than your average motel, with a modern vibe. Customer service was great, and the bed was very comfortable, except for the pillows. Also, this place is in good proximity to the beach and many other fun attractions and stores. Overall, no complaints and I would definitely book again.

Older facility with updated amenities, clean and well maintained. Price was very reasonable and the pool was also well maintained. Staff was friendly and there was a continental breakfast. Convenient to all shops, beaches and restaurants. I wasn't too happy with the noise from the a/c unit and that it didn't have a mirror other than at the sink.

Excellent last minute stay! A few things didn't work upon arrival, like the TV and pool, but they fixed them immediately!! Once fixed, the Pool and hot tub was amazing. Would definitely stay again!!

Outdated. Pool and hot tub are clean and great though. First room was dirty had to request room on second floor. There’s like a marsh right behind motel so the first floor room felt very humid and sticky. Wouldn’t pay more than $100 a night. AC worked fine. Took a while for hot water to come on. Water pressure was good.

For the price it’s perfectly fine especially with how expensive ocean city is. It was just me and my son so the room was good enough for us. Cleanliness was ok. The bed was clean and most of the room. There was ants so had to be very careful with leaving food or drinks out. Shower had hair in it from someone and I get grossed out by that but nothing you couldn’t just rinse down.

Rooms were clean but smaller. No microwave or microfridge in my room. Bathroom was good size. Pool is shared but nice and one is a hot tub. Breakfast was minimal, yogurts, muffin, cereal and okay bagels. No waffles or hot food. Okay stay for a night or two. Takes about 10-20 minutes to get to the boardwalk though due to traffic, otherwise without traffic it would be about a 5 minute ride. Near a food lion and places to eat.

Don’t listen to the google reviews my room was great clean has a microwave and fridge that worked well. AC worked amazing! The property is a little outdated and not perfectly maintained but it does not take away from the experience. Location is great. Only notes is a larger mirror would be nice and the couch cleaned but everything else was great!

Never again! The rooms are very expensive for an outdated motel. I paid for a room with a queen size bed. Clearly it was not! The bed was more like a full size, I drove several hours to be in Maryland. I just wanted to relax and watch tv before hitting the town. When turning on the tv it was not working. I immediately called the front desk to report the issue. The gentleman said give him 15 mins and he’ll be right up. Needless to say the entire evening went by so I called again. The gentleman then said he will be right up. No one never came! The next morning I had to call them again to see if they can fix the issue or move me to another room. Also, Late night there were people hanging in the parking who were not guess there. I didn’t feel my vehicle was safe! Everything is always a learning experience! So therefore I learned my lesson and I would not stay here again! They should be ashamed over pricing rooms in this old run down motel!

I recently stayed at The Shore House in Ocean City, and I came away extremely disappointed. Here’s a detailed rundown of my experience: The moment I entered my room, I found the toilet in an unacceptable state—poop particles were left in the toilet bowl. I had to notify the front desk so maintenance could clean it out. The toilet bowl was completely dirty, and the walls and front door were dirty as well. I ended up having to clean those surfaces myself to feel comfortable in the space. The first shower after a 3-hour drive was the worst part: the tub was stopped up, making a quick rinse impossible. I had to contact maintenance again to address the drainage problem. Convenience but not enough to save the stay The only bright spot was the convenience of shopping stores directly across from the hotel. That made it easier to grab essentials, but it doesn’t compensate for the lack of basic cleanliness and maintenance. Therefore, I will not book at The Shorehouse again. The level of cleanliness and the frequency of maintenance calls were far below acceptable standards for a hotel stay. If you’re considering this hotel, I’d strongly recommend verifying the current condition of the room and asking about recent maintenance work to avoid a repeat of my experience.
