Lovely, clean hotel with beautiful views from the balcony. We had a great stay and can only say positive things. The only thing to note is that once you’ve ordered breakfast, you still have to pay even if you decide to skip it for a day. The pizzeria next door is also really delicious. Overall, a very good stay!

The room and bathroom were amazingly clean. The view of the mountains and lake were breathtaking. What a nice hidden gem. What would make this property even more perfect is if there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room and laundering facilities inclusive of an iron and ironing board. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It would be nice if the larger rooms (party of 3-4) were lake facing too. The lake view rooms were limited to double and single occupancy.

Located on the other side of Hallstatt, in the small town of Obertraun, this hotel offers a calm and serene environment. We booked a lake-view room and had an amazing view. The rooms are small but clean and well maintained. There is a café next door and a pizza place nearby. Breakfast was basic and not worth €18. There are benches by the lake where you can sit and enjoy the view. Hallstatt is about 10 minutes away by car, boat, or bus.

The room is clean. The staff are friendly. Mr. Franz Josef always have a smile to greet us every morning. We skipped breakfast, not an early riser. We usually do brunch or early lunch. The hotel's location and the cleanliness of the rooms were really great. We stayed for one night. Getting to the city center by public transport was quite easy from the hotel, and it's very close to the train station. My only negative feedback is that they charged an extra fee to leave luggage at the hotel. I've never encountered such a practice before. This wasn't even mentioned in the hotel's description.

This was such a beautiful and remote spot close to Hallstatt. It was right on the water, with amazing views. Check in was simple and it was very peaceful.
