“Outstanding property, superb service, best breakfast!!!”

“Our stay at Glencruitten House was lovely. However, for the price there are a few things that did not exactly meet expectations. First, upon arrival we were offered a welcome drink to enjoy in the sitting room, which was very nice. But there was no direction for what we should do after. We were not offered assistance with bags at check-in, so we went to fetch our own bags after we finished our drinks. When we lugged in our bags we were told “oh someone could have helped you with that”. It was...

“Hotel was very nicely laid out and staff friendly. Onsite parking provided, at a cost of £10 per day. It would have been nice if this was made clear at time of booking. Problem with TV. I had to fully reset and retune to enable it to operate. Reception staff did try, but were too busy (and probably under staffed) to spend time fixing.

“Good staff, good location ”

“Clean, comfortable, and convenient. The room was small, but well organized and thoughtfully appointed. A great value, really.”

“El hotel es muy simple. La ubicación es buena. El personal muy amable. Limpieza correcta, instalaciones antiguas. ”

“very homelike and near the port”

“Nicely located and nice people. The facilities are rather old but it is clear that they are working on improving them. Good option in Oban.”

“The big nitpick for is lack of parking. Unless you're strictly staying overnight and leaving first thing in the morning you have to pay. It's kind of cheap but it's the principle of already paying for a room.”
