The room was no frills but clean. Only thing I saw that was abnormal was that the towel I used for my shower was so threadbare that I could see through it in a couple of spots. There is also some noise from truckers departing the truck stop across the street. But all things considered, especially for the price I paid, I was satisfied. Staff was pleasant both at night and in the morning. I’m going back in October and will likely stay there again.

The reception part was excellent. Professional, prompt, very courteous service provided. However, the bathtub could use some improvement as the water took took too long to drain. The room was ok, but the television didn't work. It would turn on, but stopped at that. We had a good overnight stay, but would not recommend this place for longer than that. Parking was spacious. Quiet and seemingly very safe area. Easy access to the freeways.

This was our 2nd stay at the Rice Inn. This room was better as we had a broken chair last visit, there was a stain on the bath (looked like a cigarette burn). The bed was in better condition and comfy. We liked that the rooms have a fridge and microwave. Since this was our 2nd stay, we came prepared with some food items to heat up and eat. Restaurants are very limited unless you drive 20min to Sutherlin or Oakland. The best stop going North is Roseberg. Parking was easy and staff were friendly.

The girl who [seems to?] manages the place is SO sweet and accomodating. It was cold out, so she invited me to follow her in through the staff door, rather than stand in the cold to register at the night window. When our door key wouldnt work, she happily put us in the room next door. Aside from that, everything about our stay was great! Comfy bed, everything clean. AND - though we didnt get a chance to use it, the room had a deep soak tub. They dont look lile anything special but they've heaven.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, with beautiful hardwood floors that added a nice touch. The bed was cozy, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming; they even greeted us with fresh bottles of water at check-in. We arrived late after dealing with a blown tire, and they kindly allowed us a late checkout while we waited for the repair. Excellent hospitality and service all around
